The Anesthesiology Department caters to all patients and provides for the safe usage of medical drugs when required for surgery. Anesthesia prevents pain and discomfort during the operation, it also helps to prevent remembering any of the events that cause distress and anxiety to the patient.
Here at Dr H. G Roberts Hospital, anesthesia was started since 1939 and since then had gone through a lot of changes with many past and present dedicated physicians who had worked tirelessly to bring the department to where it currently stands. The Department comprises of a team of skilled and well qualified doctors and nurse anesthetists who provide quality care to the patients before, during and after surgery.
