Child Health

The Child Health Department is predominantly focused on providing medical care to newborn babies, infants and children along with managing the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of all children at every stage of development. The department is equipped with trained physicians to diagnose and treat several conditions among children such as injuries, infections, genetic and congenital conditions, acutely and chronically ill children. The department aims to deliver a holistic approach to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, promote healthy lifestyle and emphasizes on providing a safe and positive environment to help a child grow and develop to his/her maximum potential.

Future Goals

  • To open a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) course
  • To launch a separate Paediatrics Intensive Care Unit

  • Development clinic
  • Inpatient and outpatient services including Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for sick infants who require intensive medical care
  • Well Baby Clinic- Childhood immunization, child development, human milk bank and high-risk infants
  • Physiotherapy
  • Audiology and Speech Therapy
  • Neuro development follow up of high risk infants(Babies discharged from NICU)

OPD Hours

  • Child Health has OPD every Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4PM
  • Development Clinic on every Thursday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
