The Hospital that has become a name that spells assurance for the well-being of the patients has completed one hundred years of health care delivery and Nursing Education Services. It is quite satisfying to turn back the pages of history when starting from a humble beginning as a Dispensary by the Medical Missionaries from Wales, Dr. H Gordon Roberts (1885 – 1961) and his team. By the grace of God, the 90 bedded Hospital (1922) with Diploma training School for Nurses has now been upgraded to a 350 bedded Hospital with qualified and dedicated Medical, Administrative and support staff and a College of Nursing. The Hospital also has to its credit, a network of community health and referral services through 4 (four) Rural Health Centres in the State.
Plans are underway to constantly increase and improve the services that the Hospital offers, both in curative and preventive health care applications. We are committed to make available to the public the benefits of modern medical technology.
