As part of the observation of World Blood Donor Day 2022, a short program was held on the 5th July 2022 at the Margaret E. Buckley Memorial Hall, Dr. H. Gordon Roberts Hospital, organized by the Nursing Service Department of the Hospital. The program included a short appreciation speech from Dr. A. Tariang MO/IC of the Blood Centre and felicitation of the hospital staff who had been regularly donated blood voluntarily. A regular Voluntary Blood Donor, Mr. Adaman Mawa, who had donated 23 times at our Blood Centre, was also felicitated. This program was attended by the staff of the hospital from different departments. Light refreshment was given to all the participants and the program was followed by a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at the Blood Centre.
